In September, the Hungarian Startup University Program will start again at our university.The program is implemented with the cooperation of the National Innovation Agency and the support of the Ministry of Culture and Innovation from the National Research, Development and Innovation Fund.

What can I get?
The Hungarian Startup University Program (HSUP) is the first higher education level startup program in Hungary. HSUP is a two-semester e-learning subject, in the first semester of which the focus is on learning about innovative thinking and the startup world, while in the second semester in a semester, you can acquire practical knowledge related to the construction of a business.
Credit
We know that successfully graduating from university is one of your most important goals right now. HSUP can also help with this, since this program starts as a university subject, i.e. thanks to the innovative approach of your educational institution, you can get credit for successfully completing HSUP.
Scholarship
If you have successfully completed the first semester and continue with the subject in the second semester - i.e. you continue to work on a business idea in a team - you will receive an HSUP scholarship. With a monthly subsidy of HUF 50,000, we help you prepare your idea for the real market environment and focus only on your dreams! During the second (spring) semester, the members of the 15 best performing teams will receive a special scholarship of HUF 1 million per team member. And the 4 most promising teams capable of becoming startups - if they establish their business and successfully raise capital from the market after the end of the spring semester - can receive additional non-refundable support, worth up to HUF 20 million per startup.
Mentoring
To successfully complete your studies at the end of the second semester, you must present the first working version of your idea. You will receive all the support you need for this - and to make the program truly valuable and unique, in addition to the university's instructors, we also invited entrepreneurs from the startup world to help. Sound scary? Do not panic! As a startupper, sometimes our calculations work out, and sometimes things don't turn out the way we want them to. Fortunately, at HSUP, development matters!
Partner challenges
During the partner challenge, the partners formulate a challenge or problem that they experience during their daily operations. In the first semester, you can decide to submit a one-pager presenting your own idea, or to develop a solution to a corporate challenge formulated by a partner. The challenging partner reviews and evaluates the received ideas, then selects the idea whose development it wishes to support with mentoring and other professional offers during the second semester. The team working on the idea selected by the partner (3-5 people) will also receive scholarship support, just like the other teams working on their own project idea. On the HSUP platform, the partner challenges are constantly open during the semester, so you will be able to find out about the details there and apply for the challenge.
